Nasceu em Leiria em 1970. Em 1998 conclui o Curso de Formação de Actores da Escola do Centro Dramático de Évora e em 2007 licencia-se em Estudos Teatrais. Mantém uma carreira como actor independente, trabalhando em diversos projectos e companhias em Portugal e no estrangeiro. É responsável pelo projecto de mediação da leitura, os Contapetes, que integra a rede de itinerâncias da DGLB. Desenvolve actividade como contador desde 2003. No seu repertório estão preferencialmente contos tradicionais.
